GoMobile News recently reported on our attempts to obtain multi-gadget insurance here . Our argument was that most business users need to insure both a handset and some form of computer – netbook/laptop/tablet, when they travel abroad. Especially if you are planning to visit MWC in Barcelona. We’ve just received a message from Protectyourbubble.com which showed we hadn’t quite got out research right. This particular company does actually provide multi-gadget insurance.A spokeswoman for the company explained, ”I just thought it might interest you to know that Protectyourbubble does actually offer a multi-gadget discount.
This gives you the opportunity to combine all your gadgets onto one policy and save money.” [Cue GoMobile News quietly crying offline.]
She continued, “You can insure two gadgets for a 10 per cent discount, three gadgets for 20 per cent discount and four or more gadgets for a 30 per cent discount.”
It is, of course, too late now because GoMobile News has just insured itself with insurance2go.co.uk. On our way to MACH Insights 2012.
All we can say is, “Oh. Rats!”
